This is a photograph that represents line because the main focus is on the door. The line where the door and the wall separate is the main focus and it is very pleasing to the eye, which is why it is successful.
The first thing that comes to mind when I see this picture is the many different bright colors within the picture. This photograph is a successful representation of color because they pop out to you.
The shape of the trash can is a circle and that is what you notice when you look at the picture. The orange color and the shape of the trash can gives it a dirty vibe. This makes it successful.
I love this picture used to represent form. A picture that represents form often makes the subject in the photograph look three dimensional. The bench is the main subject and it looks like you can sit on it in this picture. The shadow makes this photo successful because it gives it depth.
My main goal while taking this picture was to get the texture of the grassy turf. I zoomed in and used a fast shutter speed to capture the very little details of the turf, which makes the grass look so detailed.
When I took this picture I was very high up and I wanted to get a sense of distance. The light pole looks a lot farther away in this picture than it was in person which gives it the sense of space. You can see and feel the space between the lens and the light pole.
When you look at this picture of the mural, you don't see many bright colors. That is exactly what value shows. It shows the dark shadows and colors of the photograph.
