David Hockney was born on July 9, 1937 in Bradford, England. He lives in both England and California where he does his work in two studios. He is an extremely influential photographer and artist, especially in the 1960's, as he widened the spectrum for all artists the come. He likes to see things with a large view point and he is very open-minded which shows greatly in his artwork. His artwork is showed in many different viewpoints.
To make my David Hockney photographs, I went outside and found different elements such as leading line, crop, framing, and rule of thirds. I used a picture of my friends feet and the line e was standing on, which I used for Leading Line, using the grass line. For my second picture, I used a picture of a flower which was blooming and decided it would be Rule of Thirds being that the flower is to the side of the photo.
